The Testing of Our Hearts

When we seek to live a life that is pleasing to God, then God will test our hearts.. Scriptures clearly establishe the fact that God certainly tests our heart. In Jeremiah 12:3, you see an aspect of this testing.

God is however, gracious to test us only for a season. The length of this season may vary for each of us but because of His mercy, He refrains from putting us through the test continuously.

The Bible establishes that God only test the righteous and not the wicked.

God is looking to test gold. He does not test chaff since He knows that the chaff will burn away. But gold, it gets purer and stronger in the fire. In the same way God is only looking to test the righteous.

It is important to know and understand the testing process that God takes us through so that our hearts can be ready and not get discouraged.
